OCIA,  Order of Christian Initiation for Adults, is the process of welcoming new members into the Catholic Church. It is intended for adults who have never been baptized or have been baptized as non-Catholic Christians and now wish to practice their faith in the Roman Catholic tradition. It is an ongoing process of formation, catechesis and liturgical rites.
